Turkish Airlines establishes new subsidiary with $76.5M capital
Turkish Airlines (THY) has taken a significant step by establishing a new subsidiary, “THY Investment Management Inc.” to manage various investment projects outside its primary aviation operations.
In a statement submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), THY stated: “Our Board of Directors has decided to establish ‘THY Investment Management Inc.’ as a wholly owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. This new entity will oversee various investment projects that do not fall within the scope of our main activities.”
The newly founded company’s capital is set at ₺2.5 billion, underscoring THY’s commitment to diversifying its investment portfolio and expanding its business interests.
