Türkiye's total crude oil and petroleum product imports increased by 5.15% year-on-year in July, reaching 4.33 million tons.
According to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EPDK) "Petroleum Market Sector Report" for July, crude oil, which constitutes the largest share of Türkiye's total oil imports, saw an increase of 8.19%, totaling 2.62 million tons.
During this period, diesel imports decreased by 1.33% to 1,250,026 tons. The remaining imports consisted of aviation and marine fuels, gasoline, fuel oil, and other products.
Thus, total imports increased by 5.15% in July compared to the same month last year, amounting to 4,335,611 tons.

Meanwhile, domestic gasoline sales in July increased by 8.87% compared to the same month last year, reaching 461,469 tons, while diesel sales decreased by 11.91% to 2.33 million tons.
Total petroleum product sales recorded a decrease of 8%, totaling 2.98 million tons.

In July, Türkiye's petroleum market exports increased by 13.5% year-on-year, reaching 1.15 million tons, driven by significant growth in aviation and marine fuels.
In July, Türkiye's total refinery petroleum product production rose by approximately 3.5% year-on-year, reaching 3,264,777 tons, driven by significant increases in diesel, gasoline and aviation fuel production.
