Muslims from Jakarta to Istanbul to Berlin, gathered in the early hours of the morning to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr, often referred to as the festival of breaking the fast, is a time for Muslims to come together in celebration, gratitude and unity.
