Istanbul citizens decide on new taxi designs for 2025

Hundreds of thousands of Istanbul residents participated in an online survey to choose new taxi designs for Türkiye’s largest metropolis.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu announced the results on his X account on Friday. The winning design, option E among four other options, garnered approximately 30,000 votes.
In his announcement, Imamoglu also stated that 2,500 new taxis would soon be added to serve Istanbul residents.
