Turkish columnist Abdulkadir Selvi has reported that President and Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to make limited changes to several ministerial positions.

The timing of these changes will be decided by Erdogan himself.

According to insider sources, adjustments are anticipated in both the cabinet and parliamentary leadership. Ali Yerlikaya is expected to continue in his current role without issue.

A cabinet reshuffle is likely to take place in June.

While the party leadership was renewed at the recent AK Party Congress, there were no significant changes in parliamentary leadership.

Group Chair Abdullah Guler and Deputy Group Chairs Muhammet Emin Akbasoglu, Ozlem Zengin, Abdulhamit Gul, Leyla Sahin Usta, and Bahadir Yenisehirlioglu are expected to retain their positions for the new term.

Numan Kurtulmus will remain as Speaker of Parliament.

His recent meeting with Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli reportedly went well. Supported by the AK Party parliamentary group, Kurtulmus is expected to be nominated again for the speaker role. He is widely regarded as an experienced and effective parliamentary leader.
