The Turkish Ministry of National Defense stated Friday that alarm sirens activated at Incirlik Air Base near Adana were a false alarm, with no attack or security threat detected at the 10th Main Jet Base Command facility.

"Social media posts are being circulated claiming that sirens sounded at Incirlik," ministry sources said.

"There is no attack or negative situation. It is assessed as a false alarm," the sources added.

The statement directly addressed social media reports that claimed sirens had activated at the base, which hosts NATO operations and is one of Türkiye's critical military installations.
