Flights have resumed at Ben-Gurion Airport following a temporary suspension because of Hezbollah’s retaliatory strikes in response to the assassination of one of its commanders, Fuad Shukur.
Lisa Drir, spokesperson for Israel’s Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed that the airport was closed earlier in the day because of the attacks but reopened once the strikes ceased.
Hezbollah had launched 230 rockets, prompting the suspension of flights and the redirection of incoming planes to neighboring countries.
