Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Real Madrid's rising star Arda Guler, as head coach Luis Enrique eyes revenge following Los Blancos’ capture of Argentine wonderkid Franco Mastantuono, dubbed the "new Messi."

According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, PSG were left frustrated after Real Madrid secured an agreement with 17-year-old Mastantuono, a player also admired by the French champions. In response, Enrique now hopes to lure Türkiye international Arda Guler away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite arriving at Madrid as one of Europe’s most exciting young prospects, Guler endured a difficult debut season under Carlo Ancelotti, with injuries and stiff competition limiting his playing time. The recent addition of Mastantuono could further reduce his minutes, pushing him further down the pecking order.

PSG is hoping to capitalize on this situation. Luis Enrique reportedly views Guler as an ideal fit for the club’s long-term project, praising the 19-year-old’s technical abilities and creative flair. The Spanish coach believes Guler could play a significantly bigger role in Paris than he currently does in Madrid.

The Ligue 1 champions are expected to approach Real Madrid with a loan offer including a buy option. While Madrid remains convinced of Guler’s potential and is reluctant to part ways permanently, they may be open to a well-managed loan to support his development.
