The last time Türkiye played at the Kadir Has Stadium was on September 6, 2013, securing a 5-0 victory against Andorra in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

This upcoming match against Wales marks Türkiye’s return to Kayseri after an 11-year absence, where they previously won all matches played in the city, including victories against Azerbaijan (2-0) and Estonia (4-2) in 2009.

Iceland, Montenegro, and Wales complete the lineup in Group 4 of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League, where Türkiye competes.
