Türkiye sends 24 fencers to European Championship in Basel

Twenty-four athletes from Türkiye will compete in the European Fencing Championship starting on Tuesday (June 18), in Switzerland, according to the Turkish Fencing Federation’s announcement.

The competition, to be held in Basel City, will feature individual matches from June 18 to 20 and team matches from June 21 to 23.

The Turkish fencers representing the country in the championship are as follows:

• Women

Epee: Ceren Cebe, Aleyna Erturk, Nilahsen Erten, Beyza Halvacıay Bacak

Foil: Almıla Birçe Durukan, Alisa İsbir, Nazlı Ceren Alioglu, Irem Karamete Baldini

Sabre: Nisanur Erbil, Deniz Selin Unludag, Begum Alkaya, Nil Gungor

• Men

Epee: Hilmi Taha Ekenler, Cengizhan Oner, Ugur Kinali, Doruk Erolcevik

Foil: Alp Eyupoglu, Turhan Berke Kulcu, Can Alkis, Baha Baykal Cetinel
