Comedian and actor Dogu Demirkol will donate his proceeds to Palestinians
As Israel’s attacks on Palestine continue, comedian Dogu Demirkol came to the agenda with his social media post. Demirkol announced that he will donate all the proceeds from all the shows he will organize this summer to Palestine.
In his post on his official Instagram account, Demirkol said, “All the proceeds of all my open-air plays to be played this summer will be sent to Palestine. Free Palestine.”
Since October 7, 35,903 Palestinians, including at least 15,103 children and 9,849 women, have been killed and 80,420 people have been injured in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. While it is reported that there are still thousands of dead under the rubble, support for Palestine continues.
