Erdogan condemns assassination attempt on Trump, vows solidarity with US

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the assassination attempt on former U.S. President and Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump.
“I strongly condemn the assassination attempt against (Mr.) Donald Trump, the 45th President and Presidential Candidate of the United States,” President Erdogan said.
Erdogan also wished Trump, his family and loved ones a speedy recovery.
President Erdogan emphasized his confidence in the thorough investigation of the attack, stressing the swift pursuit of justice for both perpetrators and instigators.
He affirmed Türkiye’s solidarity with the people of the United States, ensuring that the incident wouldn’t overshadow U.S. elections or global stability.
