President Erdogan congratulates Donald Trump on US election victory

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump, the Republican candidate who won the U.S. presidential election for the second time.
In a statement shared on his official X account, Erdogan said, “I congratulate my friend, Donald Trump, on being re-elected as President of the United States after a hard-fought election.”
President Erdogan expressed his hope for stronger Türkiye-U.S. relations in the upcoming period. He also voiced his belief that efforts will intensify to resolve global and regional crises, including the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war.
Erdogan concluded by wishing that the election results would bring positive outcomes for both the Americans and all of humanity.
