Ebru Salli, a prominent Turkish model and fitness influencer, has come forward to support journalist Esin Ovet in a legal battle following a devastating cosmetic surgery mishap.
Ovet, who is widely known in Türkiye for her celebrity reporting, suffered severe complications that left her nearly blind.

Ovet took legal action against the surgeon and clinic, citing negligence during the operation. "Both of my eyes began losing vision right after the surgery, and my surgeon abandoned me during my recovery," Ovet explained in her court statement.
Turkish model Salli stood by Ovet during the court proceedings, offering testimony to the journalist’s traumatic experience.
"Esin cannot work anymore and has withdrawn from social life. Doctors told her she would not regain her sight," Salli said during her testimony.
Ovet also mentioned that the clinic denied any responsibility for the cosmetic surgery disaster, leaving her to navigate both personal and professional challenges alone.
The court postponed further hearings to gather additional testimonies and evidence.
