One of Africa’s most anticipated textile and apparel events, Destination Africa 2025, will open its doors on November 12–13 in Cairo, Egypt’s capital, bringing together leading manufacturers, buyers, and brands from around the world under one roof.
Since its launch in 2016, the fair has evolved into a key meeting point for the global sourcing community. The upcoming edition will again showcase the continent’s expanding production capacity, quality standards, and cost advantages that continue to draw international attention.
Last year’s eighth edition welcomed 80 African companies and over 210 international buyers, reflecting a steady rise in both participation and global interest.
According to post-event surveys, 96% of exhibitors said they would recommend the fair, 93% reported finding the products they were seeking, and 85% said they met sufficient potential business partners.
Organizers expect even broader representation this year from across the continent, along with buyers from major markets including Europe, North America, and Asia.
Destination Africa continues to attract purchasing teams from Lululemon, Boohoo Group, Marks & Spencer, Next, Koton, Hugo Boss, and Ralph Lauren, among others.
Türkiye, Poland, Italy, Ireland, and France are listed among the countries showing the strongest interest in attending the 2025 edition.
The two-day event offers a single platform for meeting African producers across multiple categories — including garments, denim, yarn, and home textiles — and introduces trade advantages under QIZ, GAFTA, and Agadir agreements, which provide customs and market-access benefits.
Destination Africa 2025 aims to strengthen partnerships between African manufacturers and international buyers, consolidating Cairo’s position as one of the region’s key sourcing hubs.
