Fuel prices in Türkiye are expected to increase significantly starting midnight on Saturday, with both gasoline and diesel set to rise by more than ₺1 per liter, pushing diesel prices in some cities above ₺57 ($1.40) per liter.
The new hike follows the July 3 Special Consumption Tax adjustment and comes just a week after a previous ₺0.44 increase. Sector sources say the latest price surge is driven by Brent crude oil crossing the $70 per barrel threshold again.
In major cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, gasoline prices are approaching ₺55 per liter ($1.35), while diesel is crossing ₺57 ($1.40) in some areas.
City | Gasoline (₺/L) | Diesel (₺/L) | LPG (₺/L) |
---|---|---|---|
Istanbul (Europe) | 51.36 | 53.70 | 26.51 |
Istanbul (Asia) | 51.21 | 53.58 | 25.88 |

Izmir | 52.40 | 54.94 | 26.33 |
