GlobeMeets, Türkiye’s first and only international B2B networking event for the tourism industry, will convene its third edition on Sept. 11–12, 2025, at Rixos Tersane Istanbul.

The gathering, which has grown steadily in prestige, is set to host record attendance from across the globe.

The event has quickly positioned itself as a respected meeting point in the travel sector. Compared with 2024, participation this year has increased by 20%, following a threefold expansion in 2023. Organizers emphasized that exhibitor tables were fully booked by March, underscoring strong international demand.

Reflecting Türkiye’s position in global travel networks

GlobeMeets highlights Türkiye’s role as both a major destination and a central hub for connecting diverse markets. By drawing exhibitors and buyer agencies from across continents, the event demonstrates how Istanbul continues to serve as a bridge for the global tourism industry.

GlobeMeets Chairman Huseyin Kurt noted the scale of interest, pointing out that additional exhibitor requests had to be turned away. He said the event’s growth reflects the trust and recognition it has built worldwide, adding that its primary goal remains to create value for participants.

200 exhibitors, 800 buyer agencies, 50 countries

Nearly 200 exhibitors and more than 800 buyer agencies from around 40 Turkish cities and abroad are expected to attend. Destination Management Companies (DMCs) from over 50 countries will be represented, covering markets from East Asia to Latin America, Africa, and Europe.

The roster also includes 20 airlines, 11 national tourism offices, Istanbul Airport’s IGA Pass, cruise operators, international hotel chains, insurance providers, and digital marketplace partners.

Organizers highlight that while the event continues to expand in size and recognition, it retains its focus on facilitating high-quality business partnerships.
