France-based cosmetics brand L’Oreal announced a senior leadership change with the appointment of Vanya Panayotova as its new country manager for Türkiye.
In a statement, the company stated that Panayotova will be in charge of her new position from Sept. 1.
Panayotova joined L’Oreal in 2018 as general manager for Romania. Over the past six years, she also oversaw the Adria-Balkan market, which includes Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Her prior career spans senior roles in multinational companies across the Balkans, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, where she gained broad experience in managing diverse markets and business environments.
During her tenure in the Adria-Balkan cluster, Panayotova more than doubled L’Oreal’s sales while emphasizing sustainable growth and team development. This track record is seen as a key factor in her appointment to lead L’Oreal Türkiye.
In her new role, Panayotova aims to advance L’Oreal Türkiye’s strategies in digital transformation, consumer focus, and sustainable growth. The company highlighted these areas as priorities for strengthening its position in one of the group’s key emerging markets.
