Türkiye's domestic electric vehicle manufacturer Togg is preparing to launch its second model, the T10F, this summer, as it marks its seventh year since founding on June 25, 2018.
Togg aims to strengthen its position both in the local and European markets with its expanding model line.
Togg unveiled the T10F fastback model, its second all-electric "smart device," at CES 2024. The prototype, described as more sporty while retaining sedan functionality, is expected to enter the market in the summer of 2024.
The T10F offers an extended range of 600 kilometers, approximately 80 kilometers more than the existing SUV model, the T10X.
The new vehicle includes AI-driven systems and advanced driver-assistance technologies, meeting modern user expectations in design, performance, and intelligence.
Engineering tests for the T10F began in August 2024, and the car was showcased at Teknofest Mediterranean in Adana.
As part of its European strategy, Togg established Togg Europe GmbH in Stuttgart in May 2021.
The company plans to open pre-orders for the T10X in Europe by the end of 2024. Exports are expected to begin with the T10X and expand in 2026 with the T10F.
Togg targets becoming a major mobility player in Europe, with the T10X laying the groundwork for future growth across the continent.
According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), the T10X continues to lead the electric vehicle market in Türkiye.
Togg's Gemlik-based Technology Campus was inaugurated on October 29, 2022, with the T10X officially entering serial production in March–April 2023.
Initially launched with a localization rate above 51%, the T10X’s local content increased to 74.93%, according to the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Togg's battery modules and packs are manufactured by Siro Silk Road Clean Energy Solutions, a 50/50 joint venture with China-based Farasis Energy.
Founded in 2021, Siro supports Togg's energy infrastructure and contributes to its localization targets.
The company's smart charging brand, Trugo, launched its first stations in October 2022. As of mid-2024, Trugo operates over 1,000 ultra-fast DC and 600+ AC charging sockets across Türkiye.
