Türkiye's flag carrier, Turkish Airlines, has been named “Best Airline in Europe” for the 10th time at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, a ceremony often dubbed the “Oscars of Aviation.”
The event, held on Monday at the historic Air and Space Museum in Paris, saw the airline secure eight awards—including "World’s Best Business Class Catering" and "Best Airline in Southern Europe"—cementing its reputation for excellence in both service and regional dominance.
According to a statement released by Turkish Airlines’ press office, its latest recognition marks its continued dominance in the European market.
With its 10th win in the category, THY once again demonstrated the strength of its service model, which blends operational efficiency with the tradition of Turkish hospitality.
Other honors included “Best Business Class in Europe,” “Best Economy Class in Europe,” “Best Business Class in Southern Europe,” as well as both “Best Business Class Catering in Europe” and “Best Economy Class Catering in Europe.”
Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, described the latest recognition as a major source of pride for the airline, highlighting that it reflects the dedication and passion of their staff.
He emphasized that the company draws strength from Türkiye’s long-standing tradition of hospitality and expressed gratitude to those who supported them.
“We sincerely thank our passengers and the Skytrax organization for their trust and appreciation,” he said. Bolat added that Turkish Airlines will “continue to work toward offering the best travel experience across our growing global network.”
Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted also noted Turkish Airlines’ strong performance across multiple categories and highlighted the airline’s attention to detail and service consistency.
“Turkish Airlines continues to deliver meticulously crafted service, earning passenger appreciation from its hospitality to the quality of its in-flight catering,” he said, adding that “these results reaffirm the airline’s leadership in its region and its steady position on the global stage.”
Founded in 1933, Turkish Airlines holds a Guinness World Record for the widest flight network across six continents.
