Türkiye has decided to maintain anti-dumping duties on water heater imports from China, Italy and Serbia following a final review investigation, the Ministry of Trade announced.

The decision was published in Türkiye's Official Gazette through communiqués on preventing unfair competition in imports, making the measures effective immediately.

Investigation finds domestic producers at risk without protection

The ministry conducted final review investigations into imports of "thermosiphon-electric storage water heaters" from China, Italy and Serbia, as well as "gas-powered instantaneous water heaters" from China.

The investigation found that lifting existing protective measures would likely result in continued or renewed damage to domestic producers.

As a result, the authorities determined that anti-dumping duties should remain in place for these products.

Duty rates vary significantly by country and manufacturer

For thermosiphon-electric storage water heaters, the anti-dumping measures will continue at rates ranging from 12% to 49% of the CIF value, varying by company and country of origin.

Chinese gas-powered instantaneous water heaters will face anti-dumping duties ranging from 20.12% to 53.41% of CIF value, depending on the specific manufacturer.
