The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) has announced that the number of electric vehicle (EV) charging points in Türkiye exceeded 25,000 in November, reflecting steady growth in the country’s EV infrastructure.
According to the "Monthly Charging Services Market Statistics" report published by EPDK, the total number of charging sockets increased by 3.1% in November compared to the previous month, reaching 25,096. At the end of October, the figure stood at 24,334.
Year-on-year data highlights a substantial increase of 134.5% in EV charging points. In November 2022, the number was recorded at 10,701.
Meanwhile, the number of registered electric vehicles rose from 155,319 in October to 167,519 by the end of November.
The report indicates a rise in both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) charging points:
The total installed power capacity of charging stations grew by 76 MW in one month, reaching 1,644 MW.
