Türkiye's exports to G-20 countries have surged nearly 37% from 2019 to 2023, approaching a total value of $100 billion, according to recent data compiled by the Anadolu University (AA).
The increase highlights Türkiye's expanding role in the global economy, as the G-20 countries account for about 85% of the world's GDP and 75% of international trade.
The G-20, comprising 19 member countries and the European Union, is currently chaired by Brazil, which is hosting the G-20 Leaders Summit.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, attending the summit, stated that Türkiye aims to enhance global economic stability through increased collaboration.
Türkiye's export performance showed notable growth across the G-20 member nations over the past five years.
Among G-20 countries, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom emerged as Türkiye’s largest export markets:
Conversely, Türkiye's exports to Saudi Arabia and Argentina decreased during this period.
