The development comes after a spat broke out between the business association and the government after TUSIAD released highly critical statements about the government's management of sensitive topics.

An investigation has been initiated ex officio against the suspect Orhan TURHAN for the crimes of 'Publicly Disseminating Misleading Information' and 'Attempting to Influence Fair Trial'. Instructions have been given to the Istanbul Police Department Security Branch Directorate to ensure that suspects Orhan TURHAN and Mehmet Omer Arif ARAS are present at our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
