Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom have joined the cast of the third season of “The Gentlemen," the Netflix series from director Guy Ritchie.
Filming for the new season is under way in the UK and Morocco.
The two actors previously worked together on “The Lord of the Rings” series and are now set to appear on screen together again for the first time in years.
Ray Winstone as Bobby Glass, Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina and Vinnie Jones as gardener Geoff return for the new season.
Jasmine Blackborow returns as Eddie’s sister Charly, Harry Goodwins as Susie’s brother Jack, Benjamin Clementine as Charly’s spouse and Maya Jama as Aisha. Daniel Ings, who played Eddie’s older brother Freddy in the first two seasons, and Giancarlo Esposito, who played Stanley Johnston, will not appear.
In the third season, Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) decide to set up a casino in the Middle East in their most ambitious project yet. Ritchie poses a question for the season: “In a process where danger lurks around every corner, has the Duke’s boundless ambition taken him too far?”
The series premiered in 2024 and won one Emmy Award.
