A total of 423 films have been submitted this year to the National Feature Film, National Short Film and National Documentary Film competitions at the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, held in the Mediterranean coastal city of Antalya in southern Türkiye.
According to the festival's press office, this year's event will take place from Oct. 24 to 31.
Applications for the National Feature Film, National Short Film, National Documentary Film and Cinema Schools Student Films competitions closed on Aug. 31.
The National Feature Film Competition received 58 submissions, while the National Short Film Competition drew 267 entries. The National Documentary Film Competition registered 98 films this year.
The Cinema Schools Student Films Competition received 70 applications from 70 faculties across 48 universities nationwide.
National selections will be announced in the coming days.
Separately, the Film Forum, which brings together young and independent filmmakers as part of the festival, will be held for the 13th time from Oct. 25 to 27.
Applications for the forum remain open until 11:59 p.m., Sept. 21.
