Italian ensemble ‘Fusion Project’ brings jazz-pop crossover to Marmaris

The Italian jazz-fusion ensemble “Fusion Project” performed in Marmaris, Mugla, as part of an international arts program organized by the Marmaris Municipality.

The concert, held at the Armutalan Cultural Center, featured artists from the Giuseppe Martucci Conservatory in Salerno, Italy. The ensemble included pianist Guglielmo Guglielmi, double bassist Aldo Vigorito, tenor saxophonist Pierfrancesco Valente, guitarist Francesco Landri, drummer Mirko Di Donna, and vocalist Roberta Amanda D’Agost.

The group presented a repertoire blending jazz, pop, and contemporary music elements, enriched with improvisational techniques. Their program drew inspiration from prominent figures of the jazz-fusion genre, including works associated with Steps Ahead.
