Actor Jason Statham and director Guy Ritchie are reuniting for a seventh film together, a Netflix project titled “Dogfight.” The duo is expected to start filming in 2027.
The film is described as a revenge action story set in London’s criminal underworld. Filming is planned in England. Ritchie serves as the director, producer and writer.
The collaboration began with Ritchie’s 1998 directorial debut, “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” which also marked Statham’s first acting role. Ritchie cast Statham after spotting him in a French Connection advertising campaign.
They later worked together on “Snatch” (2000), “Revolver” (2005), “Wrath of Man” (2021) and “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre” (2023).
A sixth collaboration, “Viva La Madness,” was announced in October 2025. The action thriller is based on J.J. Connolly’s novel of the same name, with Ritchie co-writing the screenplay and directing. Statham also produces.
The cast includes Jason Isaacs, Vinnie Jones, Camila Mendes and Ben Foster. Black Bear distributes the film in North America, while Amazon MGM Studios handles most international territories. Production has since wrapped, according to reports published in May 2026.
Ritchie’s crime series “The Gentlemen” also streams on Netflix.
