“Wind of Change” is blowing back toward Istanbul this summer.
Scorpions shared a video message addressed specifically to fans in Türkiye ahead of their upcoming Istanbul show, offering a preview of what audiences can expect when the band returns to the city this summer.
The German rock group is scheduled to perform on June 24, 2026, at Besiktas Tupras Stadium as part of its global anniversary tour, “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions.”
In the newly released clip, frontman Klaus Meine appears on camera from a recording studio, delivering a short message in English to Turkish audiences.
“Hello Türkiye! This is Klaus Meine from Scorpions,” he says in the video. “We can’t wait to see you in Istanbul on June 24. Don’t miss it, because we will rock you like a hurricane.”
The reference to a “hurricane” echoes one of the band’s best-known tracks, "Rock You Like a Hurricane", a staple of their live performances since its release in 1984.
Formed in Hannover in 1965, Scorpions have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and are widely regarded as Europe’s most commercially successful rock band.
Over the decades, the group has become synonymous with arena and stadium performances built around songs such as Wind of Change, Still Loving You and No One Like You.
The Istanbul concert forms part of the band’s 60th anniversary tour, which revisits key moments from its long career while continuing to draw large international audiences.
Organizers have indicated that the June 24 performance will feature a large-scale stadium production, consistent with the band’s recent tour stops.
Istanbul has frequently featured on major international touring circuits, reflecting the city’s position as a regional hub for large-scale live music events that attract audiences from across Türkiye and neighboring countries.
The upcoming concert at Besiktas Tupras Stadium adds another high-profile date to the city’s 2026 cultural calendar.
The June 24 show will be organized by Besiktas Culture Center (BKM), a long-established cultural and live events organization operating in Türkiye since 1995.
