The legendary German rock band Scorpions is set to meet music lovers in Istanbul as part of a major anniversary tour, marking six decades of an influential global career.

A milestone stop on a global anniversary tour

The band will take the stage in Istanbul on June 24 under the organization of BKM, a well-known concert promoter in Türkiye. The performance will be held at Besiktas Tupras Stadium, one of the city’s largest open-air venues, and will form part of the group’s world tour titled “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions.”

The tour is described as bringing together defining moments from the band’s long journey, while also showcasing classic songs that have continued to resonate across generations.

A career that shaped European rock

Formed in Germany in 1965, Scorpions has gone on to sell more than 100 million albums worldwide, a figure that has helped establish the group as the most successful rock band to come out of Europe.

Over the years, the band has picked up numerous internationally recognized awards, including the World Music Award, the Echo Award, and an induction into the Hollywood RockWalk of Fame, underlining its long-standing global impact.

Timeless songs with worldwide reach

The group is best known for tracks such as “Wind of Change,” “Still Loving You,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” and “No One Like You,” songs that have turned into global hits and remain closely associated with major moments in rock music history.

These titles are expected to form a central part of the Istanbul concert, as the band looks back on its career while continuing to play to large international audiences.
