Türkiye is bringing a taste of Istanbul’s artistic heritage to Paris this week with a two-day exhibition aimed at French and international audiences.

The Communications Directorate will present the exhibition "Istanbul: One City, A Thousand Perspectives" on Oct. 19-20 at Le Refectoire des Cordeliers in the French capital, the directorate said Friday.

From miniature to digital art

The event is intended to showcase Türkiye’s cultural richness and contemporary art, raise Istanbul’s profile on the global cultural stage and support the country’s cultural diplomacy, according to the directorate’s statement.

Visitors will see works by artists from a range of disciplines, including modern miniature, illumination, painting, watercolor, illustration, tile art and digital art. Among the featured artists is Leyla Kara, who works in miniature and illumination.

The exhibition is open to the public on both days.
