The Night Museum program, organized between June 1 and Oct. 1, recorded a significant milestone with a total of 554,516 visitors. The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to enhance cultural tourism and extend visiting hours at key heritage sites, continued to draw strong public interest throughout the season.
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, “This year, our night museum program, which hosted more than 554,000 guests, demonstrated how our cultural heritage shines not only during the day but also under the enchantment of the night.”
The application, originally scheduled to conclude on Oct. 2, was extended to Nov. 2 for the Ephesus and Side archaeological sites. Within the scope of the extension, nighttime lighting installations, guided tours and designated outdoor routes remained accessible to visitors. Night visits at Galata Tower continue to operate without interruption.
