Istanbul is set to host a series of high-profile international concerts throughout May and June, featuring artists ranging from classical tenors to heavy metal legends across the city's major venues.
Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform at Besiktas Tupras Stadyumu on May 31 as part of his "Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour."
The concert marks the 30th anniversary of "Romanza," Bocelli's first internationally released compilation album, which has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and is widely regarded as a turning point in his global career.
Turkish pop star Kenan Dogulu will share the stage with Bocelli at the event. Cellist Jodok Cello, known in the music world as the "barefoot cellist," will also perform.
The Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra will provide the musical backbone of the concert, organized in collaboration with NTRteam and produced by AEG Presents.
All tickets sold out shortly after going on sale, though a limited number of additional seats were briefly made available due to high demand.

American thrash metal band Megadeth will perform at KucukCiftlik Park on June 23. The concert will feature both fan favorites and material from the band's more recent work.
