Modern metal legends Avenged Sevenfold thrilled fans in Türkiye with their debut performance, lighting up Istanbul’s Lifepark stage in front of nearly 12,000 people.
According to a statement from Lifepark, the much-anticipated show drew thousands of rock and metal fans from across Türkiye, making it one of the summer’s standout music events.
The concert kicked off at 4:00 p.m. with American alternative rock band Palaye Royale, setting the tone with their dramatic and high-energy performance.
Avenged Sevenfold—consisting of vocalist M. Shadows, guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman—took the stage with a powerful setlist blending progressive rock, metalcore, and heavy metal.
The band performed fan favorites such as Bat Country, Afterlife, Nightmare, and Hail to the King, while also showcasing tracks from their latest album, Life Is But A Dream…, delivering a performance that resonated deeply with longtime followers and new listeners alike.
