English professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, an acrobatic star known internationally as "Pac" and "Neville," has died at age 40, All Elite Wrestling announced late Sunday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
"Our condolences go out to Satterley's family, friends and fans," All Elite Wrestling wrote on social media.
Satterley, who was from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, began his wrestling training at 18 after developing a passion for the sport through his aunt, an avid fan of World Wrestling Entertainment (then World Wrestling Federation).
After making his professional debut in 2004, he quickly rose through the independent circuit while earning nicknames like "The Super Superman" and "The Man That Gravity Forgot" for his acrobatic, high-flying style.
He launched his international career in 2007, competing in Japan and North America before signing with WWE in 2012, where he performed under the ring name Adrian Neville, later shortened to Neville, until 2018.
During his tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), he captured the NXT Championship and was a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Satterley joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019 as one of its original roster members, returning to his long-standing ring name "Pac." Throughout his time with the promotion, he held multiple titles, becoming the inaugural AEW International Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.
In his final match on Saturday at AEW's "All Out" event in Chicago, Satterley competed against Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship, falling short in a hard-fought contest.
