City center and residents adjust to winter weather

The early snowfall transformed Erzurum’s city center into a winter landscape. Citizens heading to work in the morning wore winter clothing and spent significant time clearing snow from their vehicles and the entrances of workplaces.

Many residents expressed surprise at the sudden arrival of snow, noting that they had not yet prepared for the winter.

Municipal teams from both the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality and district municipalities worked throughout the night and morning to clear roads and ensure safe passage.

Ski facilities welcomed the early snow, which provided a promising start to the upcoming winter season.

However, drivers who had not yet installed winter tires faced difficulties on snow-covered roads, highlighting the impact of the sudden weather on daily life.
