Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake's son Adonis, has married a 26-year-old Turkish Muay Thai athlete. Efe Caliskan, in Canada, with the ceremony taking place on June 21, Father's Day.
The wedding brought the couple into international entertainment headlines, while the reported 10-year age gap between Brussaux and Caliskan also drew attention on social media. Early images from the ceremony also highlighted the size of the bride's ring.
Brussaux and Caliskan tied the knot in Canada, where the Turkish athlete lives. Drake did not attend the wedding.
Caliskan, who is based in Thornhill, Ontario, has spent years in combat sports. He is known as a Muay Thai and MMA athlete, with Muay Thai referring to a striking-based combat sport from Thailand and MMA standing for mixed martial arts.
After competing in Muay Thai and kickboxing, Caliskan started his MMA career in 2026. His marriage to Brussaux has now pushed his name into wider international media coverage.
Brussaux became widely known to global audiences after her connection to Drake came under public attention.
In 2018, rapper Pusha T claimed that Drake had a child with Brussaux, and the Canadian artist later confirmed that he was the father of Adonis.
Drake and Brussaux had a short relationship in 2017, but they did not continue as a couple. Since then, they have remained publicly connected as the parents of Adonis, whose shared upbringing has kept both names in the entertainment press.
The story around Drake, Brussaux and Adonis stayed in the headlines for years after Pusha T's diss track "The Story of Adidon" brought the matter to global attention.
