Supermodel Naomi Campbell ditched the traffic between Paris Fashion Week shows for a shared city bike, but only after giving it the thorough wipe-down she is known for.
The 56-year-old model was seen wiping down the parts of the public-use bicycle she would come into contact with before putting on blue latex gloves and setting off.
Campbell told the team filming her that she was caught between fashion shows in Paris and had little choice but to use a bicycle to make it to her next event.
She also indicated that riding without her gloves was not an option, reflecting the hygiene precautions she has previously drawn attention for while travelling.
Campbell said she had not ridden a regular bicycle for a long time, apart from using a stationary exercise bike, and appeared hesitant about getting back on two wheels.
Her security guard accompanied her during the journey on a separate bicycle.
Campbell has previously spoken openly about her attention to cleanliness, particularly while travelling, when she has used disinfectant products and gloves.
She has also previously been filmed cleaning areas around her airplane seat, including the seat itself, seat belt, screen and other surfaces she expected to touch.
Her latest routine played out on the streets of Paris, where she cleaned the shared bicycle before riding away to continue her Fashion Week schedule.
