The yellow alert indicates potentially dangerous weather, and residents are advised to be cautious, especially for activities that may be affected by meteorological conditions.

The Istanbul Governorship has issued a warning of strong winds from the north and northeast, reaching 40–60 kilometers per hour, and at times 60–80 kilometers per hour.

The winds are expected to continue until the night of Aug. 14 in Istanbul, Edirne, Kirklareli, Tekirdag, Yalova, and the western districts of Kocaeli. Authorities urge citizens to take precautions against transportation disruptions, roof damage, and falling trees.
