Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married on Friday at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, following months of speculation about the venue.
The news was confirmed by a "JUST&T MARRIED!" sign displayed on a video screen outside the arena shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET.
Swift's longtime publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed the ceremony took place Friday in New York, with actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiating.
Austin Swift, the singer's brother, served as her man of honor, while Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce's brother, was his best man. Neither Swift nor Kelce had bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Swift wore a custom haute couture gown by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior, marking the first time Anderson has designed a couture wedding dress for a celebrity of her stature.
Kelce also wore a custom Dior look by Anderson. Both wore Christian Louboutin shoes, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.
The couple worked with wedding planner Mark Seed, who has also planned events for musician Jack Antonoff. Guests were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements, and phones were not permitted at the event.
The couple held a rehearsal dinner Thursday night for about 100 guests at the Infosys Theater inside Madison Square Garden. Attendees included Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Bradley Cooper and Lena Dunham.
According to a city permit obtained by the Associated Press (AP), the wedding ceremony took place at 5 p.m. ET Friday, with the reception permitted to run until 4 a.m. ET Saturday.
Additional guests seen arriving Friday included Ed Sheeran, Jessica Chastain, Dakota Johnson, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant, Camila Cabello, Zoë Kravitz, the Haim sisters and NFL players George Kittle, Kyle Juszczyk and Cooper Kupp, among others.
Extensive security measures were put in place around the venue, including police officers stationed nearby, snipers positioned atop the arena and surveillance helicopters overhead. Several streets surrounding Madison Square Garden were closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Ahead of the wedding, Swift and Kelce announced $26 million in charitable donations to more than a dozen organizations.
Among the recipients were Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which received $2 million, and the Grammy Museum Foundation's Grammy in the Schools program.
Swift and Kelce became engaged in August 2025, with the announcement shared on Instagram.
