The meeting also discussed ways to sign cooperation agreements between Menoufia University and a number of Turkish universities, opening new horizons for joint academic and scientific collaboration.

The two sides reviewed the provisions of the agreements, which aim to facilitate the exchange of faculty members and students, implement joint academic and research programs, and organize scientific conferences and seminars, as well as exchange expertise in curriculum development and educational programs.

These efforts are intended to enhance the university’s regional and international standing and support the goals of improving the quality of education and scientific research, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and Egypt’s national vision for higher education.

Books donation boosts cooperation

Meanwhile, the educational counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Cairo donated over 700 Turkish-language books to the Library of the Faculty of Arts, contributing to the enrichment of the library’s academic and knowledge resources and supporting the educational and research process.

In a previous cultural engagement in August, Türkiye’s ambassador to Egypt, Salih Mutlu Sen, also visited the Great Cairo Library, also known as Princess Samiha’s Palace, where he presented a collection of notable works, each accompanied by a personal message.
