Maintenance, repair and modernization work is being carried out at Erciyes Ski Resort, one of Türkiye's most important winter tourism destinations, ahead of the new season.
According to a written statement from the Metropolitan Municipality, Erciyes Ski Resort, which offers world-class service with 112 kilometers (69.6 miles) of ski runs, 41 ski slopes, 19 mechanical facilities and cable car lines reaching an altitude of 3,400 meters (11,155 feet), is preparing for the new season.
At Erciyes, where service quality is being improved, extensive maintenance and technical work is being carried out on mechanical facilities to provide visitors with a safer and more comfortable skiing experience.
As part of this work, a moving walkway is being installed in the Develi area, while maintenance and repair work is also being carried out in operator rooms across Erciyes.
At the Hacilar Kapi Gondola Storage Garage, existing sandwich panels are being removed and wall, plastering and painting work is being carried out, while maintenance and repair work on the roofs is also continuing.
In the snowmaking system, work is continuing to increase capacity at pumping stations, renew lines and fix faults in the communication infrastructure, along with some facade renovations.
Meanwhile, work is continuing to expand the alternative road connecting Kayseri and Develi that passes through Erciyes Ski Resort, as well as to increase parking capacity.
