Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will pay an official visit to Türkiye on June 20 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in what officials describe as a historic milestone in bilateral relations.
The visit was announced by Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, who called it unprecedented.
“For the first time in the history of the Republic of Armenia, a leader at this level will make an official visit to Türkiye,” he said.
The meeting is expected to take place in a one-on-one format between Erdogan and Pashinyan, covering a wide range of regional topics.
Pashinyan and Erdogan previously met during the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, at the Turkish House (Turkevi).
During that encounter, Erdogan presented Pashinyan with a copy of his book, A Fairer World Is Possible, a gesture widely seen as a diplomatic signal of goodwill.
