The Bayraktar Kizilelma PT-4 fighter UAV has successfully completed its AB (Afterburner) Take-off Aerodynamic System Identification Test, Baykar Board Chairman Selcuk Bayraktar announced via social media.
The milestone represents a significant advancement in Türkiye's indigenous unmanned combat aircraft development program, with the Bayraktar Kizilelma designed for future air combat scenarios dominated by unmanned technology.
The Bayraktar Kizilelma Fighter UAV is being developed entirely within Turkish borders, leveraging Baykar's extensive experience with UAVs and UCAVs as a foundation for advancing into future aviation technologies.
"With consideration of a future where air combat will be dominated by unmanned technology, our Bayraktar Kizilelma Fighter UAV, being developed fully within Turkish borders, will most certainly play an increasingly important role moving ahead," according to official specifications.
Baykar is utilizing its long-standing UAV/UCAV expertise to rapidly advance into future technologies that the Bayraktar Kizilelma Fighter UAV system will deploy.
