Some clips also appeared to show him filming inside a mosque, where he allegedly disrupted worshippers and took videos during prayer.
In the videos, the person is seen approaching women in public spaces and attempting physical contact, while recording and later publishing the interactions.
As the content spread across platforms, it drew widespread criticism, with users expressing concern over both the alleged harassment and the act of recording and publishing such behavior online.
The incident also prompted a strong response from the Egyptian community living in Istanbul.
