Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Saudi Arabia and Egypt on Feb. 3-4 with a high-level business delegation to discuss economic cooperation alongside developments in Gaza and Syria, including reconstruction efforts and the proposed Board of Peace.
President Erdogan's first stop will be Saudi Arabia on Feb. 3, followed by Egypt on Feb. 4. Business forums will be held in both countries, with senior representatives from the Turkish business community in attendance.
The meetings will cover new cooperation opportunities across a wide range of sectors, including defense industry and aviation, energy, infrastructure, construction, healthcare, food, agriculture, tourism, building materials, information technology, digital technologies, real estate, logistics, consulting, mining, architecture, furniture, international technical consultancy, textiles, transportation, chemical products, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and automotive.
Beyond economic ties, the visits will address regional developments, including the reconstruction of Gaza and Syria, the Establishment of the Board of Peace for Gaza, and steps to rebuild and revive both territories.
Discussions will also cover developments regarding the establishment of a joint defense group between Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The official visits come at a critical time for Middle East diplomacy, with ongoing ceasefire implementation in Gaza and Syria's territorial reunification efforts under the new Damascus government.
