Turkish defense giant Aselsan signs anti-drone systems deal with Bosnia

Turkish defense giant Aselsan has signed a new contract with Bosnia and Herzegovina for the procurement of anti-drone systems, General Manager Ahmet Akyol announced.

Akyol said in a social media post that the agreement was signed with Bosnia and Herzegovina Defense Minister Zukan Helez as part of ongoing defense industry cooperation between the two countries.

"We signed a new contract with Bosnia and Herzegovina Defense Minister Mr. Zukan Helez for the procurement of our anti-drone systems," Akyol said.

"I wish our cooperation to be beneficial for the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina," he added.

Regional cooperation opportunities discussed

Akyol said the visit also included meetings with Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Prime Minister Nermin Niksic and Energy, Mining and Industry Minister Vedran Lakic.

He said the meetings addressed ongoing work in the region and potential cooperation opportunities.

"We continue to build trust globally with Aselsan technologies," Akyol said.
