Turkish defense manufacturer Otokar to showcase armored vehicles at DSEI Japan 2025

Turkish defense manufacturer Otokar will participate in DSEI Japan 2025 for the first time, displaying scale models of its COBRA II and ARMA 8x8 armored vehicles at the defense exhibition in Chiba, Japan, on May 21-23.

The Koc Group company will showcase its land systems capabilities at the Makuhari Messe exhibition center, presenting its military vehicle platforms and turret systems to the Japanese defense market at stand H8-100 in Hall 8.

NATO and UN supplier expands Asian presence

Otokar, which serves as a vehicle supplier to NATO and the United Nations, will display scale models of its internationally recognized armored vehicles equipped with advanced turret systems. The COBRA II will be shown with the KESKIN turret configuration, while the ARMA 8x8 will feature the 30mm MIZRAK turret system.

The company produces 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 tactical wheeled armored vehicles, tracked armored vehicles, unmanned systems, and turret solutions using its own technology, design, and applications.

Over 33,000 vehicles in global service

"We are continuously strengthening our position on a global scale. More than 33,000 of our military vehicles are actively serving with over 70 end users in more than 40 countries," said Sedef Vehbi, Otokar deputy general manager for military vehicles.

"Thanks to our superior design, testing, and production capabilities, we have the ability to respond quickly to our users' constantly changing requirements and needs. We are proud of our achievements in different geographies around the world. DSEI Japan, which we will attend for the first time, is an important opportunity to develop new collaborations. With our wide product range and experience in land vehicles, we are ready to best meet the needs of the Japan Self-Defense Forces," Vehbi added.
