Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) chief Ibrahim Kalin met with Mohammed Ismail Darwish, head of Hamas' Leadership Council, to discuss the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, according to security sources on Sunday.
The talks focused on the urgent need to end the destruction in Gaza and ensure the immediate flow of humanitarian aid.
Sources said the meeting also addressed efforts to promote unity among Palestinian groups during this critical period and to reach a lasting ceasefire.
Kalin stressed that Türkiye continues to stand by the Palestinian people and is actively engaging with the international community to ease the crisis and support peace initiatives.
