Elite platforms from the Turkish Naval Forces’ inventory staged a salute parade in Yalova ahead of the “Teknofest Blue Homeland” event.
Citizens watching the Turkish navy’s pass from the shore followed the vessels waving Turkish flags.
TCG Anadolu and TCG Heybeliada took part in the pass held off the coast of Yalova’s Altınova district ahead of “Teknofest Blue Homeland”, an event symbolising Türkiye’s maritime power, independence and national defence capabilities.
The second edition of Teknofest Blue Homeland will be held at the Golcuk Naval Shipyard Command in Türkiye’s northwestern province of Kocaeli from Thursday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Centered on maritime and underwater technologies, the four-day festival will showcase Türkiye’s growing capabilities in the defense industry and naval technologies.
Specialized Turkish Naval Forces units, including the Underwater Offense Command (SAT), Underwater Defense Command (SAS) and naval aviation units, will hold demonstrations during the event.
Visitors will also be able to tour some of the Turkish Navy’s leading vessels, among them the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu, the frigate TCG Istanbul, the presidential yacht TCG Savarona and the submarines TCG Murat Reis and TCG 18 Mart.
The program will feature activities highlighting defense industry projects and Türkiye’s efforts to develop domestically produced naval platforms and systems.
